Next week, 5-8 May 2025, will be the NOAA CoastWatch 2025 annual science meeting, hosted jointly by the PolarWatch Node and Geophysical Information Network of Alaska (GINA) at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. The meeting format is virtual, although colleagues who are in Fairbanks may gather locally. The material for the week has been condensed in consideration of the limitations inherent with an online meeting (i.e., screen fatigue). The meeting will be held Monday -Thursday, from 1 - 4 or 4:30 pm EST, with a 30 minute break scheduled between Node updates and presentations by Alaska users about their satellite needs. Note that the speaker on Wednesday will be a talk given as part of the Virtual Alaska Weather Symposium (VAWS) and will be presented on a different platform (details listed in the agenda).
Registration is optional, but by registering, interested attendees can be notified of any changes in the meeting agenda. [Link to register]
The meeting is virtual using the Google Meet platform with access information in the agenda.
Agenda as of 30 April 2025 (changes may not be reflected here):
